MyCamino

I first walked the Camino Portugués in 2025 with two dear friends. What began as a journey of faith became something much deeper, something that changed me in ways I'm still discovering.

As a Catholic, I believe God is generous. I believe that anyone who steps onto this pilgrimage is given opportunities to encounter Him, not in abstract ideas, but in personal and tangible ways. The Camino delivered on that promise far beyond what I expected.

Getting to the trail, however, was harder than it should have been.

We planned our journey using Google Sheets for accommodations and WhatsApp for everything else. With only three of us, it mostly worked, but just barely. Messages were easy to miss. The spreadsheet grew confusing. Small but important details slipped through the cracks, and what should have been a joyful time of preparation often felt scattered.

Now I'm planning the Camino Inglés for June 2026, this time with eight pilgrims. The same tools that struggled with three quickly fall apart with more. Conversations become noise. Plans get buried. The shared excitement of preparing for a pilgrimage together is replaced by frustration and confusion.

That's why I'm building MyCamino.

A place made specifically for pilgrims. A place where planning together feels calm and intentional. Where conversations stay organized and everyone can see the journey taking shape. A place that keeps the focus on the road ahead and the people walking it with you.

MyCamino is being built with care, prayer, and lived experience.

Buen Camino.
